Application approval for schools
New applications need to request access to relevant data from your schools Management Information System (MIS) to enable you to enjoy the features and benefits of their product. Through your Wonde School Portal, you will be able to view each request and approve, decline, or revoke them. Your school will always have full visibility and control over the data you share.
To approve or decline a request:
- Log in to your Wonde School Portal by navigating to https://school.wonde.com/.
- Your applications pending approval are visible in the ‘Pending Approval’ section.
- Select the application you would like to review.
- You can review the data permissions* the application has requested.
(*Permissions refer to the data an application would like to access to best populate their application for your use.)
- If an application sets permissions as optional, you can turn the toggle on/off to confirm whether you are happy for this information to be available to the application or not. Please note: not all applications will have optional permissions.
- Following your review of the application’s request, you can approve the application by clicking the “Approve access” button. To decline an application’s request, click the “Decline access” button.
A pop-up box will appear asking for you to confirm your action.
What happens next?
The approval process is now complete. You and any other admins associated with your school will receive an approval receipt confirming the permissions have been approved. The approval receipt is time and date-stamped and is useful for your records.

If your school is installed, then a member of Wonde’s support team will check reports and audit your data to ensure your data is appearing correctly in our API before making this accessible to the application.
FAQ’s
How do I remove an application the school no longer uses?
If your school is no longer using an application, select the application within your Wonde school portal, and click the ‘Revoke application’ button.
A box will appear prompting you to confirm your request before the application’s access is revoked. Once a school has revoked access to an application, the connection is terminated immediately and the application cannot access future updates to your MIS via Wonde.
