Logging into the Wonde School Portal
- Visit the login page: go to https://school.wonde.com/login.

Find your school: Search by name, postcode, or URN. (The system should automatically remember your school for your next visit).
- Enter your email and click Next
- Wonde will send a direct login link to your email inbox.
- Open the email and click the "Sign into Wonde" button to log in.
Setting up Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)
MFA adds an essential layer of security to protect school data. To ensure your account is safe, you will be prompted to set up MFA each time you log in until the setup is complete.
⚠️ Note: If you choose "Set up later", you will be prompted again at your next login. We strongly recommend completing this setup immediately to secure your account.
Setup Steps:
- When you log in, click Set up MFA.
You can choose between two verification methods:
Option A: Authenticator app
- On the setup screen, you will see a QR code.
- Open your chosen authenticator app on your mobile device and scan the QR code. (If you don't have an app yet, click the "Get an app" button on-screen for more info).
- Once scanned, your app will generate a 6-digit code. Enter this code into the boxes provided on your screen and click Confirm.
Option B: SMS (Text Message)
- On the setup screen, select the SMS option.
- Enter your mobile phone number and click Send code.
- Enter the 6-digit code you receive via text message and click Confirm.
Finalising setup: Save your recovery codes
Once verified, the system will display your recovery Codes.
- Download or copy these codes and store them somewhere secure.
- Do not skip this step—these codes are vital if you ever lose access to your phone.
Managing MFA settings
To manage your MFA settings in your Wonde school portal. Simply navigate to Username (top right) > Account Settings > Multi-factor Authentication.
We recommend adding a secondary method (e.g., adding SMS if you primarily use an authenticator app) so you are never locked out.
Recovery codes
Recovery codes are your "emergency key" if you lose your phone or delete your authenticator app.
- Usage: Each code works once.

How to use: When logging in, enter your email and password, then on the MFA verification screen, click "Use recovery code" and enter one of your 6-digit codes.
- Generate new codes: If you’ve used most of your codes, go to Account Settings and click "Generate new recovery codes." This will invalidate your old list.
Top tip: Keep your recovery codes as safe as a password. We recommend saving them with a password manager such as 1Password, Bitwarden, or LastPass.
Authenticator apps and extensions
If you prefer not to use a personal smartphone, you can use browser extensions or password managers on your computer.

How do I get an account?
If you are not an admin, ask an existing Wonde admin at your school to invite you. If no admin is available, contact Wonde Support at 01638 438094 or support@wonde.com.
What if I lose my phone and don't have recovery codes?
You will need a colleague with Wonde Admin rights to reset your MFA:
- On the MFA login screen, click "Need help?".
- Under "Still stuck?", select the admin(s) you wish to notify. They will receive an email to reset your access. Once reset, you can set up MFA from scratch.
